Creation and innovation are the core themes of this new meeting place of the image industry, organized by PRIMI, the cluster of the digital and creative industries of the French region Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur. Three days of networking, debates, and B2B meetings to connect producers, financiers, research labs, innovative project-holders and experts from all over Europe. The objective: favouring the emergence of innovative projects harnessing new technologies - such as AI, VR/AR/MR, data, 3D sound- from the digital and image industry.

Mandy has wide experience of the creative and cultural industries and a track record of leading innovative projects exploring new thinking in digital media. Mandy is Co Founder of Cinegi, a secure digital film distribution service testing how this kind of service can bring arts and cultural content to new and wider audiences. It has a catalogue of theatre, music, ballet, dance and opera. Mandy is also Founder Director of Golant Media Ventures, an innovation agency working with the creative, cultural and digital sectors, advising on creating new products, services and experiences, and developing their funding and financing strategies and underpinning business models.

Indrek Ibrus is the head of the Centre of Excellence in Media Innovation and Digital Culture (MEDIT) and a professor of the Baltic Film School at Tallinn University. Professor Ibrus has advised Estonian Ministry of Culture on audiovisual affairs and on the development of European media policy. He is a member of European Expert Network on Audiovisual and Culture (EENCA) that advises European Commission on media and cultural policy making. He is also the head of the research work package of large EU funded R&D project Cross Motion that facilitates co-innovation practices between European audiovisual industries and health, tourism and education sectors. He has authored numerous research publications including the book "Crossmedia Innovations: Texts, Markets, Institutions” (together with Carlos A. Scolari).
Urszula GLEISNER
International Project Manager, VR & Partnerships (France)
Urszula, graduated with MBA in Audio-Visual Production and MBA in International Business in France, is expert in multiplatform content and virtual reality. Her experience of 17 years in international business companies (Hewlett-Packard, Thomson) and 10 years in new media (Technicolor, Framepool, Vision Factory, Gleisner Consulting), enables her to create partnerships and manage media projects worldwide. She is a globetrotter who knows the specificity of Western and Eastern European market. Trilingual (French, Polish, English).  She organized the Polish version of Think Tank: Learn Do Share in Warsaw and she cooperates with VR festivals on a regular basis (Screen4All, Discop Africa).
Erwin M. SCHMIDT
Founder of Cinemathon & Co-Founder of Propellor Film Tech Hub (Germany)
Erwin M. Schmidt has worked in production, international sales and for film festivals and was Wim Wenders’ 3D producer. He has an avid interest in new narrative formats and new distribution channels. In 2016 he co-founded the Propellor FilmTech Hub, together with the European Film Market of The Berlinale, the International Film Festival Rotterdam and the Copenhagen International Documentary Festival. The aim of Propellor is to propel the film industry into the future.

A Digital Entertainment Expert with 10+ years' experience leading digital development and consumer strategy for EMI and Warner Music in France, Yvan Boudillet is the founder of TheLynk, an advisory agency bridging creative industries & startups. A regular speaker & lecturer specialized in the data-driven cultural content economy, Yvan is passionate about connecting creative talents – artistic & tech – and building a sustainable innovation culture within the creative industry.
Eric SCHERER
Director of Innovation & Prospective - France Télévisions (France)
Eric Scherer was Director of Strategy for Agence France-Presse before becoming Director of Future Media at France Televisions. Journalist and media professional at Agence France Presse and Reuters, he was foreign correspondent in Japan, editor in chief and executive director in North America. He is a web entrepreneur, blogs at meta-media.fr, and teach new media. He publishes every semester a guide to global media trends. He is the author of a glossary on Digital Revolution (Dalloz) and has published an essay entitled "Are journalists still needed ? Manifesto for an augmented journalism" (PUF).
Eric is also board member of journalism schools - CFJ Paris and Ecole de journalisme et de communication Aix-Marseille -, and institutions such as the GESTE (Groupement des Editeurs de Services en ligne) and the French digital cluster Cap Digital. He curates the conferences of the digital festival Future en Seine and is  co-chair of Collège des Bernardins seminar on "Journalism and public good in the algorithms era".
Diederik VEELO
Head of Innovation and Founder of Ambassadors Lab & Ambassadors VR (Netherlands)
Diederik Veelo is the Head of Innovation and Founder of Ambassadors Lab & Ambassadors VR. Diederik’s talent for creative technology is derived from years of experience working in the commercial and feature film industry, initially at Valkieser Capital Images as Visual Effects Editor.  He joined Ambassadors as a VFX Producer.
Ambassadors Lab is a studio dedicated to innovation. The studio was founded in 2011 and has delivered successful projects such as the 2012 WWF, to develop an infra red tracking technique and its ‘Nature is Us’ campaign; a Dynamic Broadcast Video program with Cube Compose - an online cloud media tool. In 2014 Terre des Hommes briefed Ambassadors Lab to create a VR film for their new campaign Amani. The Lab developed a 3D Cinematographic VR camera, which included 14 cameras and 5 microphones.
After a year of tinkering with VR cameras, workflows and perfecting its storytelling Diederik launched Ambassadors VR in April 2016 as a standalone studio, combining creative technology with experienced craftsmen. The studio worked closely with Ambassadors Sound and perfected the Ambisonic sound design to enhance the 360° experience.
Tawny SCHLIESKI
President of Oregon Story Board - Founder of Shovels and Whiskey (United States)
Tawny Schlieski was Intel’s Director of Research and pioneered The Tempest with Sarah Ellis from the Royal Shakespeare Company. She now runs a prototyping studio, Shovels and Whiskey, dedicated to building great ideas for the VR marketplace. We believe in rapid iteration, continual testing, and most importantly, occasionally throwing out everything we have done and starting over.
Anne-Marie NAUGHTON

ANNEMARIE NAUGHTON is a producer and founder of Dublin based Park Films. Park have collected over 30 international awards for shorts & features. Their feature; THE CANAL (2014), premiered in Tribeca Film Festival, New York and went on to achieve significant international critical and commercial success. Park, in collaboration with director Ivan Kavanagh also made the multi award winning features TIN CAN MAN (2012) and THE FADING LIGHT (2010-World cinema section, PUSAN International Film Festival) THE FADING LIGHT won the Critics’ Circle Award ‘Best Feature’ and ‘Best Actor’ in the 2010 Jameson Dublin Film Festival. In 2016 Park broadcast the gripping 6 part documentary series THE FIELD, based on 19 real land dispute cases across Ireland. A Co Production with Northern Ireland Screen and broadcast on TG4. Park are in development on a number of feature projects including The Disassembled Man, starring Emile Hirsch, and the true crime drama series Missing, Presumed, along with directing partner, Ivan Kavanagh, also a director of Park Films. AnneMarie is co-founder of an Industry platform and App, called Rangle. A new innovative tool to connect production companies with skilled crew. It is supported by Irish Film Board and Creative Media. AnneMarie is a founding board member of Women in Film & TV, Ireland.
Mads DAMSBO
Media director and producer at MAKROPOL (Denmark)
Media Director Mads Damsbo is leading the charge amongst his contemporaries, marshaling film producers and directors,
interaction designers and game designers, artists and coders, he is at the creative
edge in the development of new media experiences.
His experience in filmmaking and storytelling combined with a passion for new technology,
art and design has spurred a handful of progressive projects, that all seek to challenge the
way good stories come to life.
Although Mads has a rather wide reach with his body of work, it beats with the same pulse;
first comes the core story, then there is any given medium. And interaction is not an option -
it’s a premise.
Juliane SCHULZE

Juliane, Senior Partner at Berlin-based peacefulfish, has been working in the creative industry for more than 25 years, consulting on strategic business planning and investment readiness. As Executive Advisor, she holds an extensive cross-industrial knowledge, specialising in financing and business mentoring for audiovisual companies and for entrepreneurs in the creative and cultural industries. Juliane is the director of the Creative Europe supported investor-training programme ENTER EUROPE and also member of the board of Media Deals, a pan-European investor network constituted of business angels and early-stage venture capital funds focusing on creative industries and digital media. Since its creation in 2008, Media Deals has been promoting and encouraging early-stage equity investment in high-growth startup companies at the crossings of the audio-visual sector and digital technology as well as cutting-edge media content technologies. Media Deals is a member of EBAN, EBN and NEM.
